My aim is to help you better understand your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, what they mean, and how they relate to your present day struggles and challenges. Together, we will work to deepen your awareness and understanding of your needs, desires, and patterns of relating, so you may experience a more authentic and fulfilling life.
I am a practicing psychotherapist and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of New York. I received my Master of Arts degree in Mental Health Counseling and Wellness from New York University. I have nearly ten years working experience in mental health spanning a wide-range of levels, including suicide/crisis intervention, targeted case management, community care coordination, and psychodynamic psychotherapy.
My approach to psychotherapy is to help my patients discover the meaning behind many of their current thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and how those experiences affect their daily lives. Psychotherapy offers a chance to explore your inner life, as well as the relationships and events that have affected you, so you can find new ways to help you make meaning in your life, deepens your self-awareness, free yourself from fixed patterns of relating, and experience emotional growth and lasting positive change. .
